Hobby Ultra is pleased to announce that it has opened a brand new physical store in the city of Leicester! Yes, it's only taken a year before deciding to open one, but it was time for Mr Manager to return to his roots. Hobby has been selling all sorts of great merchandise imported from Japan, with some of the most unique products found in the UK (Evangelion crayfish model kits, anyone?) and thanks to your support, the store is now available to the public.

What does this mean for the online store?

Things are still staying the same, but now all orders will now be fulfilled from this new location. If you're local to Leicester, you'll now be able to receive free collection from the store and this applies to anyone wanting to visit from afar. Heck, you'll even be able pre-order in the store too!

What products are sold here?

Well, first of all, everything you see on the site will be available in-store! Our focus will be on maintaining an entire wall of model kits, including Gundam, Kotobukiya and more, with the rest of the shop kitted out with hard to find Pokémon plushes, Gachapon, t-shirts, action figures, Banpresto and of course, our bread and butter, Nendoroids.

When are you open?

Opening times are as follows:

MONDAY: 10:00 - 5:00

TUES: 10:00 - 5:00

WEDS: 10:00 - 5:00

THURS: 10:00 - 5:00

FRIDAY: 10:00 - 5:00

SATURDAY: 10:00 - 5:30

SUNDAY: 11:00 - 3:00

Are you employing anyone?

Not currently, no. Unsurprisingly, there's a list of people wanting in, but for now Hobby Ultra is run by one person, who has experience running a physical store anyway. We'll advertise anything if that changes!

Where are you?

The new store is located in the Royal Arcade, right in the middle. We're next to the great people at Tin Fish and The Wardrobe, and you can find the Arcade either on the High Street or Silver St (opposite Cocoa Amore).

Well, who knows? I'm seeing how successful the store is, but it might already be apparent a larger unit is necessary for customers. Soon enough, I'm sure there'll be a HU near you. Maybe even a theme park? Ultraland? I'll look into it.
